Built by Nawab Wajid Alis Ahah in the loving memory of his wife Begum Hazrat Mahal, this park has a memorial in her name for her contribution to the freedom movement.

Gautam Buddha Park.
Anyone who has grown up in Lucknow can vouch for the boat rides in the canal in the famous ‘Buddha Park’ as it is fondly known as.

Janeshwar Mishra Park.
Inaugurated in August 2014, Janeshwar Mishra Park is located in Gomti Nagar. Modeled on London’s Hyde Park, it is claimed to be the largest garden in Asia.
Ambedkar Memorial Park.
Ambedkar Park is situated in Gomti Nagar. Besides huge statues of figures, it houses 62 elephant statues on either side of the Patibimb Sthal.
It has been favourite spot for shooting movies like Youngistan and Dawaat-e-Ishq.
Lucknow Zoological Garden.
Now renamed as Nawab Wajid Ali Shah Prani Udyan, Lucknow Zoological garden or Banarasi Bagh is a huge campus spread over 11 hectares.
It hosts more than a thousand animals and birds species along with a grand museum and a mini train. It is a great picnic spot for your family in the heart of the city!
Manyavar Kanshiramji Green Eco Garden.
Spread over huge stretch of 112 acre land, this is one is one of the biggest ecological parks in the world! It uses solar energy, reuses water, has arrangements for rainwater harvesting and even has green house.

Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Park.
Located in Gomti Nagar, Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Park boats of a great outdoor with landscaped gardens, an exercise zone, walking path and even an artificial lake.
It is a nice place to spend your Sunday with family!
Kukrail reserve forest is a famous picnic spot. It houses a deer park where you can spot black bucks and it is also famous for crocodile nurseries.
Besides this it has children’s park, a cafeteria and a rest house too.
Dilkusha garden is next to the Dilkusha palace that is now in ruins. The garden is frequented by people for morning walk and is a beautiful sight with winter blooms.
National Botanical Garden.
Located in the middle of the city, National Botanical Garden is also known as Sikander Bagh. It is run by CDRI and is open in the morning hours.
