3 bananas (ripe), 1 cup dates (de-seeded and chopped), 2 cups oats (rolled), 1 teaspoon vanilla extract and 1/3 cup vegetable oil

Recipe:

-Preheat the oven to a temperature of 175 degrees centigrade.               

-Mash the bananas and add rest of the ingredients to it. Stir them well.

-Spread the mixture into cookie size heaps on the cookie tray.

-Bake them in pre heated oven for 20 minutes till they turn golden brown in colour. Serve hot!

2.Sweet Mango Sorbet.

5 medium sized mangoes (ripe), 6 teaspoon lime juice (fresh) and 6 teaspoon brown sugar

Recipe:

-Peel and de-seed the mangoes, cut them into cubes and put them in a mixer to make a puree.

-Add lime juice and brown sugar to the puree and blend them in the mixer well.

-Pour the mixture into ice cream moulds and freeze them for a few hours. Serve chilled!

Calorie count: 94 calories per serving

 

3.Orange & Mint Greek Yoghurt.

6 tablespoons Greek yogurt (fat free), 1 teaspoon honey, 1 big orange (peeled and quartered) and 5-6 mint leaves (thinly chopped)

Recipe:

-Add honey to yogurt and blend well.

-Cut orange into thin slices crosswise.

-Put sliced orange slices in a serving bowl, spread all the yoghurt over it and sprinkle mint on top. It is ready to serve!

Calorie count: 171 calories per serving

 

4. Crust free Strawberry Pie.

24 ounce strawberries (fresh), 1 pack vanilla pudding mix (sugar free), 1 pack strawberry jelly (sugar free) and 2 cups water

Recipe:

-Hull rinsed strawberries and spread them evenly in a pie pan (10 inch).

-Take a saucepan, add pudding mix, water and jell o mix together and heat it till it comes to a boil.

-Pour the mixture over the strawberries and freeze it for 5-6 hours. Serve well.

Calorie count: 57 calories per serving.

 

5.Choco Banana Ice cream.

1 banana (ripe) and 1 teaspoon cocoa powder

Recipe:

-Take a frozen banana and blend it in a mixture with cocoa powder

-Serve the smooth mixture and eat fresh.
