Lucknow is going to witness 5th Uttar Pradesh Mango Festival this June. This festival is to celebrate the King of all fruits, Mango. This is probably the best time of the year to take a peep at the different colors of this fruit. The juicy festival will be triggered with mango feast at Mallihabad orchard on 17th and 18th of june. While the real celebration would start on 24th June and will continue till 25th in Indira Gandhi Pratishthan.
The two days of appetizing fun will include ‘Qissagoi on Mangoes’, ‘Story Telling for kids’, Best mango theme dressed kid/family contest, Aam Pe Shayari accompanied with a Cooking contest that will be judged by Master Chef, Pankaj Bhadoria.
The festival has a lot to offer ranging from varieties of mangoes to different engaging competitions. The festival is made engaging and attractive for making people aware of the varieties of mango present, besides it gives a platform to the farmers to come in direct contact with the purchasers as well as dealers. A festival filled with the aroma of mangoes will by itself be satisfying and pleasing. The festival focuses on not just farm mangoes but it tries to focus largely on the mango products and increase its production.
