Lucknow Metro’s Project Report For Blue Line Finalized! Charbagh To Basant Kunj Work Will Start Off This Year.

A new Detailed Project Report for the blue line or the East-West Corridor of the Lucknow Metro is now finalized, after the approval from the Rajya Sabha, LMRC will send it forward for the finances permit. As soon as the approval is given work from Charbagh to Basant Kunj will be started off, most of the work here will be underground.

The Delhi Metro And Rail Corporation (DMRC) has handed over the DPR to the Lucknow Metro and Rail Corporation (LMRC). In it along with Charbagh 12 different stations are to be covered in the course of 11kilometers. 7 stations will be underground while the rest 5 will be elevated.

The Underground stations are Charbagh, Gautam Budh Marg, Aminabad, City Railway Station, Medical College Cahauraha, and Nawazganj.

The Elevated Stations are Thakurganj, Balaganj, Sarfarzganj, Musabagh and Basant Kunj

The metro depot will be at Basant Kunj.
