‘Patriotism’, the people of India are very well aware of the word. Indians have known what struggle for independence means. We have felt the pain and suffering that our forefathers had to go through at the time of Independence. The sacrifice of our freedom fighters could never be forgotten, their inexplicable efforts leave every Indian enthralled.
No words could ever express the feeling of gratitude of Indians towards its army who, till today are guarding the borders of the country, such is their love for this land. The sons and daughters of Mother India stay in the most severe conditions just to ensure that the country is safe. No Words have the capacity to explain the zeal of the army.
They work day and night to ensure we sleep peacefully.
In the course of living for the country, many jawans of our country lose their lives. If a record of 2016 is taken into consideration, approximately 65 of our army men lost their lives at the border. These army men dedicate their lives to the nation, and their families are those self-effacing beings who give up their sons and daughters to deliver service to the mother nation.
India is grateful towards them and hence, put many efforts to be of some help to the jawans guarding the country. In one such effort, the famous Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar along with Home Ministry came up with an idea of launching a site, with which the people would be able to help any of the Martyr’s family.
Home Minister Rajnath Singh launching the website along with Akshay Kumar.
The martyr’s account would be closed once it has reached the amount of Rs. 15 lakhs. The site called as ‘Bharat Ke Veer’ or ‘India’s Bravehearts’ has gained a lot of recognition and appreciation from the people of India.

The portal is an IT-based platform, with an objective to enable willing donors to contribute towards the family of a braveheart who sacrificed his/her life in the line of duty. The amount so donated will be credited to the account of ‘Next of Kin’ of those Central Armed Police Force/Central Para Military Force soldiers. Home Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated the web portal, ‘Bharat ke Veer.gov.in’.
‘The site has achieved a great response, it has collected till now a decent amount of 2.10 Crore for the martyr’s families in one month. This response of the people for the martyr’s families shows the love and respect that the citizens have.
Among these great contributions, one remarkable contribution was made by a resident of Lucknow, Mr. Jatin Verma, who donated Rs. 11,00,000 to the site, ‘Bharat Ke Veer’. The large collection made by the site clears the fact that India loves its army.
Among Many other Home Minister, Rajnath Singh appreciated the site for its achievement in such a short span.
